Bought six more dahlia tubers (six for thirty bucks). That makes twelve, plus whatever survived from last year; should be enough. Tried to buy a bunch of different styles. They are so beautiful.
Nick (?) gave a presentation on how to pot them. Basically:
- mix coir and pro-mix (president said can just use seedling soil instead of coir)
- cutoff all but one eye
- plant in 4 1/2 inch pot (square)
- eye (or shoot) should be just above the soil
- water almost everyday
